Coarse Sea Salt.
This natural sea salt comes from an ancient mill called Moranella in the salt pans from Trapani. The salt pans fill with sea water in the spring and the water evaporates over the summer thanks to the Sicilian sunshine and strong African winds. All this salt is harvested and packed by hand.After the decantation process, the solid crystals are broken down into large coarse salt granules which make the sale grosso.
